• CA residents: Tell Governor to Keep Animal Protection Laws Local

  CA residents, please contact Governor Schwarzenegger today to oppose AB 815. If this bill passes, the state Fish and Game agency will essentially be the only entity with the power to adopt laws or regulations on the taking of fish and game in the state.

• CA Residents: Urge Governor to Keep Door Open For Local Laws

  If adopted, AB 2427 will prevent local governments from passing various animal welfare laws in the future that they deem necessary to protect animals from inhumane practices. Contact the Governor now!

  Dallas Zoo officials recently announced plans to forego sending Jenny, thier lone African elephant, to Mexico. However, Jenny's fate still hangs in a precarious balance. Please help to secure her a swift retirement to The Elephant Sanctuary.

  Around 23,000 dolphins and porpoises are killed throughout Japan every year, with the largest single slaughter of dolphins in the world occuring in Taiji, Japan. Please help bring this to an end by contacting officials today.
