Join Citizen Advocates to Lobby for Animals on May 7
Want to get involved in animal welfare legislation?
Please join the ASPCA, Born Free USA, and others in Springfield
on Wednesday, May 7 for Illinois Voices for Animals Day. This
is a great opportunity to let state lawmakers know that you support animal protection and oppose laws that would allow
animals to be hurt and exploited.
You’ll have the chance to discuss a range of
topics with your elected officials, including:
• Banning the slaughter and sale of lion meat
• Protecting gray wolves, black bears, and cougars
• Keeping bobcats safe from a hunting and trapping season
Constituent involvement is critical for success in
our legislative work. Illinois Voices for Animals Day is also a great
networking activity, so don’t miss out. RSVP by May 2!
